Privacy Policy
Welcome to overtureclinic.nl (the “Site”). Overture Clinic (Rotterdam, Netherlands, KVK 87918447) respects your privacy and handles personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what we collect from visitors to the Site (“Visitors”) and from clients who book a consultation or treatment (“Clients”), and how we use it.
What we collect
From every Visitor we collect basic, anonymous usage information (such as pages viewed and, with your consent, cookies used to understand how visitors find us). When you request a consultation, book a treatment, or contact us, we additionally collect the name, email address, phone number, and area of interest you provide, and, once you become a Client, information relevant to your treatment and care.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, schedule and manage your appointments, provide safe and appropriate treatment, and process any payment. We may email you about your appointment, aftercare, or — only with your consent — offers and clinic news. We never sell your data.
Who we share it with
We share data only where needed to run the clinic: our booking, payment and email service providers, and, where legally required, insurers or authorities. Any service provider handling personal data on our behalf is bound to use it only for that purpose. We do not control how third parties you are linked to (such as payment providers) separately use information you give them directly.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser and reads back on your next visit. We use cookies to remember your preferences and, only after you accept our cookie banner, to understand how visitors find and use the Site. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some features of the Site may not work properly without them.
How it is stored and secured
Your data is stored securely and is accessible only to staff who need it to provide your care. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it, including encryption in transit, and we review our security practices regularly. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot accept liability for events outside our reasonable control such as unauthorised access despite these measures.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). To exercise any of these rights, or to ask us to correct or delete your data, email us at the address below; because of legal record-keeping obligations some clinical records may need to be retained even after a deletion request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; changes are posted on this page. Where a change would affect data you previously asked us not to disclose, we will contact you before making that change.
